Viserion Boat Manager – our own software for the SY Viserion
The more technology is installed on a modern sailing yacht, the more difficult it becomes to keep track of everything. Engine, power supply, heating, water, navigation, communication, and safety each come with their own documentation and maintenance intervals.

That's why we've started a new project: the Viserion Boat Manager .
The idea
We want to create a central digital platform that knows exactly which components are installed on our SY Viserion and when they need to be serviced .
To achieve this, we first build a complete technical database of our Sirius 40 DS . Based on the actual equipment, we add information on manufacturers, models, technical data, installation locations, maintenance intervals, and required spare parts.
In this way, a digital image of the technical equipment of our Viserion is created step by step.
More than a digital checklist
In the long term, the Boat Manager should not only document, but also actively provide support.
The software should, for example, recognize when the next maintenance is due based on operating hours or time intervals:
"Engine oil change due in 18 operating hours."
Later, we also want to integrate AI. Instead of searching through manuals for a long time, we could then ask, for example:
"What do I need to consider when changing the impeller?"
The answer should come as directly as possible from the manufacturer's documentation for the components actually installed on our ship.

We are still at the beginning
Currently, our focus is less on a sleek interface and more on the most important foundation: the right data .
What components are installed? What maintenance does the manufacturer prescribe? What spare parts do we need?
We will continue to follow the development of the Viserion Boat Manager here – including new features, good ideas and probably also some dead ends.
Perhaps one day this will become software for more than one ship.
But first, we're building them for exactly one thing:
our SY Viserion.
