Update 2 from the shipyard – SY Viserion is taking shape

Work on SY Viserion is progressing rapidly – and this time there are particularly exciting insights into the manufacturing process. The hull is deep into structural work, the carpentry shop is operating at full capacity, and the gleaming stainless steel parts are appearing on deck for the first time. A true milestone on the way to launch.

1. Structure in the hull – millimeter work below deck

Laser lines, frames, longitudinal stringers: The interior of the hull is currently being precisely aligned and prepared.

This phase lays the foundation for a calm, stable ship at sea – and for all subsequent installations such as technology, tanks and floor construction.

2. Interior fittings made of solid wood – The typical Sirius look is created

The carpenters produce the future furniture modules piece by piece: curves, drawer slides, milling work, decorative strips.

The warm solid wood already shows how high-quality the interior will look.

3. Outer hull – The deep blue hull is already gleaming

The first pictures of the fully painted hull are a highlight. The dark blue is already shimmering under the protective film – combined with the white deckhouse, this creates the unmistakable Sirius character.

4. Stainless steel fittings – The first hint of a “finished ship”

Cleats and fittings are being installed or prepared.

From this point on, the boat feels truly "real" for the first time – no longer like a shell.

5. What happens next?

• Installation of the technical systems

• Furniture assembly inside the hull

• Preparation for windows & openings

• Start of cockpit construction

Construction is now visibly accelerating – many trades are interlocking, and Viserion is growing week by week.
